Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED OR 3+ years of relevant work experience.
• Requires hospital experience as a nursing assistant, CNA certification or related field.
• BLS certification required within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care including bathing, oral hygiene, and hair care.
• Perform hourly rounds and monitor patient needs.
• Assist transport of patients to treatment centers and reposition patients as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness of instruments and equipment and keep patient rooms orderly.
• Monitor stock levels of supplies and equipment as directed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Maintain the cleanliness of various instruments and equipment such as bedpans, urinals and wheelchairs
• Keep patients’ rooms in clean and orderly condition
• Maintain unit stock levels of supplies and equipment as directed
• Performs other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED OR relevant work experience (3+ years)
• Requires hospital experience as a nursing assistant, certification as a nursing assistant or experience in a related field (i.e. medical assistant)
• BLS is required within 90 days of hire
