Avamere Skilled Advisors, LLC d/b/a Avamere Living in Eugene, OR, seeks a Nursing Assistant NA to provide routine daily care to residents under licensed nurses' supervision.

The role supports residents, assists with daily activities, monitors condition per care plans, and participates in care routines; multiple shifts including evenings and nights are available.

Qualifications

• Graduated from a Nursing Assistant Program in the State this position is in.
• Must maintain and have active CPR/BLS during employment.
• Have a passion for caregiving and enhancing the quality of life for our residents.

Responsibilities

• Check each resident routinely to ensure that his/her personal care needs are being met in accordance with his/her wishes.
• Review resident care plans daily to determine if changes in the resident's daily care routine have been made.
• Inform the nurse supervisor of any changes in the resident's condition so that appropriate information can be entered into the resident's care plan.
• Assist residents with daily needs, including preparation for activity and social programs, and transporting residents to/from appointments.
• Create and uphold an atmosphere of warmth, patience, enthusiasm, and foster a calm and cheerful environment.
• Ensure residents' rooms are ready for receiving and help residents feel comfortable.
• Participate in facility surveys by authorized government agencies.
• Effectively communicate necessary resident information to charge nurses, director of nursing, and/or administrator

Shift: EVEs (2p-10p) and NOCs (10p-6a)

Job Summary

The primary responsibility as a Nursing Assistant is to provide each of your assigned residents with routine daily nursing care and services in accordance with the residents' assessment and care plan under the supervision of licensed nurses for up to 120 days of graduating from the Nursing Assistant program.
