Job summary

You will assist with admissions, discharges, and transfers, monitor patient rhythms, coordinate daily activities, and maintain confidential records under RN supervision, ensuring a safe, efficient unit.

Strong communication with the interdisciplinary team and compassionate patient interaction are essential in this role on the nursing unit.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate nursing unit activities effectively and efficiently.
• Assist with admissions, discharges, transfers and unit changes using EMR and monitoring system.
• Perform clerical and secretarial duties to support the unit.
• Respond to patient call lights and communicate requests to nursing staff.
• Assist with routine patient care under RN supervision.
• Help with feeding, fluids, and nutritional support as needed.
• Maintain unit records and documentation in EMR.
