Position Summary
Join a team that puts compassion into action. As a Nursing Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting our nursing team and delivering hands-on care to patients. You’ll help create a healing and supportive environment by assisting with essential daily tasks, patient comfort, and basic clinical duties — all under the direction of a Registered Nurse.

What You’ll Do
Deliver Exceptional Patient Support:
- Help patients feel welcome and cared for during admission and discharge
- Assist with daily personal care: bathing, oral hygiene, mobility, feeding, etc.
- Measure and record vital signs (blood pressure, temperature, pulse, respiration)
- Respond promptly to patient call lights and address immediate needs
Assist With Clinical Tasks
- Support wound care, skin care, and basic procedures as directed
- Perform blood glucose checks, catheter care, enemas, and sterile dressing changes
- Assist with equipment set-up (e.g., EKGs, IV observation, monitors)
- Collect specimens such as urine, stool, or sputum
Support Your Team
- Transport patients and deliver supplies/equipment as needed
- Keep rooms, utility areas, and patient care spaces clean and organized
- Monitor supply levels and help maintain equipment
- Communicate changes in patient condition or concerns to the care team
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Must be 17 years of age or older
- Previous patient care experience and Nurse Assistant Certification preferred
- BCLS (CPR) certification required within 3 months of hire

- Ability to read, write, and follow instructions clearly
- Basic math and computer proficiency
- Strong interpersonal skills with a team-first mindset
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends/holidays as needed
Physical & Work Requirements
- Ability to stand/walk for long periods and assist in patient movement
- Able to lift up to 35 pounds independently; more with assistance
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, hands-on environment that may involve biohazards
