Job summary

Merrimack Health in Massachusetts is hiring Nursing Assistants for all shifts, FT, PT, or Per-Diem with 8- or 12-hour shifts and flexible schedules.

Responsibilities include basic patient care under RN supervision, monitoring vital signs, assisting with bathing, meals, and ADLs. You’ll respond to call buttons and ensure policy-based care for all patients. Massachusetts CNA preferred; BLS certification helpful; bilingual skills a plus.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent or five years of experience in lieu of degree with Basic Life Support certification.
• Massachusetts Certified Nursing Assistant preferred.
• Bilingual (Spanish-English) helpful but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic services to patients throughout the day under RN guidance.

ATTENTION NURSING ASSISTANTS: We are hiring for all shifts: FT, PT, or Per-Diem with either8-hour or 12-hourshifts, flexible schedules available.

Nursing Assistant responsibilities include providing basic services to patients throughout the day who have difficulties with mobility or cognitive skills. Performs dutiesunder the direction of the Registered Nurse to support our patients and provide direct patient care.

Duties include, but are not limited to :

• A variety of ClinicalMeasures, including monitoring vital signs and oxygen levels
• Bathing, observation and meals
• ADLs(Activities of Daily Living)
• Answering call buttons
• Ensures patient care is delivered by age-specific category requirements and established policy and procedure for all patient populations
• Responds promptly and compassionately to patient needs and requests. Must have a can-do attitude, with a strong focus on teamwork, and possess excellent customer service skills

Requirements
