Shift: 8 Hours - Day Shifts

Job Schedule: Full time

Weekly Hours: 40.00

Salary Range: $15.00 - $23.00

Pay Info: $5,000 sign on bonus available to eligible candidates!

Department Details: Fast-paced environment working in the surgery department. Job duties include transferring patients, cleaning and stocking OR suites, and inventory control. The shift is from 6am to 2:30pm. Call is required for this position, with one weekend every 4 to 5 weeks.

Job Summary: We're looking for a compassionate Nursing Assistant to join our inpatient team. A Nursing Assistant provides patient-centered nursing care and daily living assistance under supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN). Responsibilities:

• Assist with basic health care needs including bathing, grooming, toileting, and eating, supporting emotional and spiritual needs
• Record vital statistics, blood glucose levels, and other health information
• Assist with patient transfers and ambulation
• Perform clerical work related to scheduling and documentation
• Prepare and clean treatment areas, living areas, and medical equipment
• Dispose of biomedical waste following standards and policies

Qualifications:

High school diploma or GED preferred but not required. Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification is preferred. Must obtain and maintain required competencies and certifications. If working in North Dakota and not a CNA, must be on the North Dakota Department of Health Nurse Aide Registry within four months of employment.
