Sanford Health in Eau Claire, WI is seeking a compassionate Nursing Assistant for inpatient care. You will provide patient-centered assistance under RN or LPN supervision, helping with daily living activities and basic health tasks in a rewarding, growth-oriented setting.

This part-time position offers opportunities for advancement, a 12-hour day shift, and a sign-on bonus potential. Eligible candidates will have HS diploma or GED; CNA preferred; Wisconsin registry or ND requirements apply.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED preferred, but not required.
• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) is preferred and must meet registry requirements.
• ND or WI Nurse Aide Registry eligibility depending on location.
• Able to perform daily living activities and basic nursing tasks.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic health care support including bathing, grooming, toileting, and eating while addressing emotional needs.
• Record vital statistics, blood glucose, and other health information.
• Assist with patient transfers and ambulation.
• Perform clerical tasks related to scheduling and documenting patient care.
• Prepare and clean treatment areas, living areas, and medical equipment.
• Dispose of biomedical waste per policy.

Job Summary

We’re looking for a compassionate Nursing Assistant to join our family in an inpatient setting. Qualifications

High school graduate or general equivalency diploma (GED) preferred, but not required.

Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) is preferred. Obtains and subsequently maintains required department specific

competencies and certifications.

If working in North Dakota (ND) and not a Certified Nursing Assistant, must be on the North Dakota Department of Health Nurse Aide Registry upon completion of training/competency validation or a maximum of four months from the date of initial employment.

If working in Wisconsin, must be on the Wisconsin Nurse Aide Registry with current work eligibility or a student nurse, currently enrolled at a school approved by the Wisconsin Board of Nursing, who has completed a basic nursing course and 16 hours of clinical experience.
