Job summary

Monarch Healthcare Management is launching a Nursing Assistant in Training (NAIT) program in Minnesota. NAITs must be actively enrolled in a approved Minnesota MDH 75-hour NATCEP program and will take the Minnesota State Nursing Assistant competency exams within 4 months of hire, then apply internally for CNA positions at a Monarch facility of their choosing.

The program allows up to 3 attempts for the Skills exam and 4 attempts for the Knowledge exam; a new program is required if attempts are

Nursing Assistant in Training (NAIT)

Position Summary:

The Nursing Assistant in Training (NAIT) is a position that exists to prepare NAITs to successfully pass the Minnesota State Nursing Assistant competency exams. NAITs must be actively enrolled in an approved Minnesota MDH 75-hour NATCEP program at the time of hire. Upon completion of the course, the NAIT will take and pass the Minnesota State Nursing Assistant competency exams within 4 months of hire at which time the NAIT will apply internally for the open CNA position at the facility of their choosing. The student is allowed3 attempts for the Skills exam and 4attempts for the Knowledge exam. If either exam attempts are exhausted, a new training program must be completed. As an NAIT, you will be responsible for most duties of a certified nursing aide (CNA) as officially deemed competent through in part, completion of at least 16 hours of training in core areas.
