Monarch Healthcare Management is seeking a Nursing Assistant in Training (NAIT) in Minnesota to prepare for the Minnesota State Nursing Assistant exams. NAITs must be enrolled in an approved 75-hour NATCEP program and will complete the course and then sit exams within four months, pursuing internal CNA opportunities at Monarch facilities.

The role requires English proficiency and dependable weekend/holiday availability.

Qualifications

• Active enrollment in Minnesota MDH 75-hour NATCEP program.
• Must speak and read/write English clearly.
• Willing to work every other weekend and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Assist with CNA duties as deemed competent after training (minimum 16 hours).
• Aid residents under supervision and participate in core care activities.
• Prepare for Minnesota State Nursing Assistant competency exams within 4 months of hire.

Nursing Assistant in Training (NAIT)

Position Summary:

The Nursing Assistant in Training (NAIT) is a position that exists to prepare NAITs to successfully pass the Minnesota State Nursing Assistant competency exams. NAITs must be actively enrolled in an approved Minnesota MDH 75-hour NATCEP program at the time of hire. Upon completion of the course, the NAIT will take and pass the Minnesota State Nursing Assistant competency exams within 4 months of hire at which time the NAIT will apply internally for the open CNA position at the facility of their choosing. The student is allowed3 attempts for the Skills exam and 4attempts for the Knowledge exam. If either exam attempts are exhausted, a new training program must be completed. As an NAIT, you will be responsible for most duties of a certified nursing aide (CNA) as officially deemed competent through in part, completion of at least 16 hours of training in core areas.
