Position Summary

The Nursing Assistant in Training (NAIT) is a temporary role designed to prepare individuals to pass the Minnesota Nursing Assistant competency exam. As an NAIT, you will perform duties similar to a Certified Nursing Aide (CNA) once trained. After completing the 75-hour NATCEP course, you will need to pass both the skills and knowledge exams for certification. You have three attempts for the skills exam and four for the knowledge exam. You must be on the MN state registry within 4 months of hire. Upon passing, you can apply internally for the CNA position at your current facility.
