Job summary

Nu Roc Health and Rehabilitation Center is offering a Nursing Assistants in Training role through the WisCaregivers Program, with no out-of-pocket cost for training. The position provides hands-on healthcare exposure while completing an approved CNA training program and earning CNA certification through partnered schools.

The role is entry-level, with opportunities to transition to a CNA upon course completion, and supports both full-time and part-time schedules.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a caregiver or in a similar healthcare role preferred.
• Ability to work full-time or part-time schedules.
• Ability to work under stress and in emergency situations.

Responsibilities

• Complete admission and discharge inventories.
• Transport clean and soiled linens to designated areas.
• Assist with meal trays and basic tray setup.
• Assist with feeding when competency is demonstrated.
• Transport residents to dining areas, activities, and rooms.
• Answer call lights and provide basic assistance (no hands-on care).
• Assist in housekeeping and/or laundry as needed.
• Support activities and resident engagement.
