Job summary

Munson Healthcare in Michigan is seeking a Nursing Assistant to brighten patients' days, provide comfort through the night, and support clinical staff in delivering exceptional care to the local community.

Qualifications

• CPR certification must be obtained/maintained for adult maneuvers (child/infant may be required in some departments).
• May be required to lift more than 35 pounds.
• High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performing basic patient care needs and services essential to caring for the patients' personal and comfort needs.
• Complete personal hygiene.
• Collecting specimens.
• Assisting patients with daily walking and exercise.
• Transporting patients between departments.
• Observing, reporting and recording vital signs of the patient.
