Job summary

Affinity Home Health Care Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented role focused on managing medical supplies, documenting prescriptions, and maintaining stocked first aid and medical equipment in a correctional health setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Certification or permit as Nurse Assistant, Medical Assistant, or similar preferred.
• At least one year of healthcare, correctional, or clinical setting experience is preferred.
• Proficiency in word processing and data entry.
• Current CPR certification and a valid Texas driver’s license with acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Receive, organize, and document medical supplies and inventory.
• Enter prescription data, create labels, and maintain Medication Administration Records.
• Ensure medical supply carts, trauma bags, PPE rooms, and first aid kits are fully stocked.
• Assist with maintaining logs for Sick Call, Chronic Clinic, and Specialty services.
• Support intake procedures for new detainees.
