Responsibilities include assisting patients with hygiene, mobility, and daily needs, maintaining a clean and safe environment, and documenting relevant patient information per hospital

Qualifikationen

• High school graduate or equivalent required.
• Completion of an approved Nursing Assistant or Patient Care Assistant program, or Florida CNA certification, or LPN licensure, or current nursing student with clinical rotation, or nursing school graduate, or EMS/Paramedic licensure accepted.
• May require licensure/certification from outside the United States.

• Assists with general patient care under direction of LPN/RN.
• Performs essential nursing unit tasks to maintain patient safety and comfort.
• Transports and delivers items and medications within the facility.
• Maintains patient privacy and adheres to standard precautions.
• Participates in admission, transfer and discharge processes.

Ausbildung

High school graduate or equivalent

Nursing Assistant or Patient Care Assistant Program

State of Florida Certified Nursing Assistant certification

State of Florida Licensed Practical Nurse

Current nursing student who has completed one semester of clinical rotation

Graduate of an approved school of nursing

Medical Corpsman, Emergency Medical Technician or Paramedic

Licensure/Certification outside the United States
