Nursing Assistant II - CPCU / Cardiac Progressive Care Unit (Nights)

Join our team as a Nursing Assistant II in the Cardiac Progressive Care Unit (CPCU) at PRINCETON BAPTIST MEDICAL CENTER.

Position Summary:

Department: Cardiac Progressive Care Unit (CPCU)

Status: Variable Full-Time (Three 12-hour shifts with rotating weekends)

Shift: Nights (7pm - 7am)

About the CPCU:

  • A 43-bed unit providing Level II Cardiac Services.
  • Serves patients with conditions such as Heart Failure, Arrhythmias, Chest Pain, and those undergoing Cardiac Catheterization.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist patients with hygiene, mobility, hydration, and nutrition.
  • Maintain a safe, clean environment and follow safety protocols.
  • Ensure patient privacy and confidentiality.
  • Assist with admissions, transfers, discharges, and vital signs monitoring.
  • Document patient information accurately and communicate concerns promptly.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • One year of recent nursing assistant experience or relevant training/certification as listed.
  • Current BLS/Healthcare Provider certification.
  • Experience in a healthcare setting within the past five years preferred.
