Advocate Health is seeking a Nurse Aide at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center – Nursing: 10 Reynolds Orthopedics in Winston-Salem, NC. You will assist with direct patient care under the RN, participate in procedures, and help create a safe, therapeutic environment.

Requires a High School Diploma or GED and current Nurse Aide registration; BCLS is required. Expect 35.1 hours weekly, three 12-hour day shifts plus weekend rotation, with full benefits and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Nurse Aide in good standing with the State Registry.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) required.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct patient care under the direction of the Registered Nurse (RN).
• Performs procedures correctly under the direction of the RN.
• Creates and maintains a safe and therapeutic environment for patients, self, co-workers, and facility.
• Ensures complete, accurate and timely communication of patient information.
• Communicates to the team, patients and family members in a professional manner.
• Takes personal responsibility for performance and development.
• Provides age/developmental appropriate patient care per guidelines.
