Responsibilities

• Assist physicians and other health care providers with routine examinations and procedures, and procure equipment during emergencies.
• Aids patients in reality orientation, participates in behavior modification plans, provides support therapy, and helps manage aggression.
• Observe, collect, and document patient information and report significant changes to a nurse or physician.
• Assist patients and families during admission, orientation, and discharge.
