Job summary

Select Specialty Hospital - Jackson in Jackson, MS is seeking a Nursing Assistant (NA) to join our dedicated care team on a full-time Day Shift. You will perform patient care tasks including bathing, oral hygiene, and mobility assistance, and participate in hourly rounds to ensure comfort and safety.

The position offers a competitive hourly rate of $16.00 to $19.51 with benefits, a thorough orientation, opportunities for tuition reimbursement and a clinical ladder, and 12-hour shifts that suit

Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED OR relevant work experience (3+ years).
• BLS is required within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform patient bathing, oral hygiene and hygiene care.
• Light housekeeping and maintenance of patient rooms and equipment.
• Participate in hourly rounds to monitor patient needs and comfort.
• Transport patients to treatment areas and assist with transfers as needed.
• Maintain clean and orderly patient rooms and stock supplies.
