Job summary

OhioHealth Inpatient Rehabilitation Hospital in Columbus, OH is seeking a full-time Nursing Assistant to join our 12-hour day shift team. You will contribute to compassionate patient care in a joint venture with Select Medical, supporting brain and spinal injury rehabilitation.

Responsibilities include obtaining vital signs, assisting with personal care, feeding when needed, mobility support, and transporting patients to treatment areas.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED, or related work experience (3+ years).
• BLS certification required within 90 days of hire.

• Assist patients with bathing, oral hygiene, shaving and hair care; deliver meals and snacks and document oral intake.
• Turn and position immobile patients safely while maintaining proper body alignment; participate in mobility program.

• Hospital experience as a nursing assistant, certification as a nursing assistant or experience in a related field (i.e. medical assistant, actively enrolled RN student)
