Salary Range: $21.53 - $24.67 Hourly
Description

Crest View Senior Communities is seeking positive and dedicated Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA/NAR) to join our team and serve older adults in Columbia Heights and Blaine Campuses. We are hiring all shifts (AM, PM, NOC) and seeking Full Time qualified CNAs/NARs. Crest View offers a full continuum of care including skilled nursing, assisted living, independent living, and memory care in our faith-based community. The CNA/NAR is responsible for providing a wide range of direct resident care services, addressing residents' physical, psychological, social, and spiritual needs.

Position Summary:

  1. Caring for residents' physical, psychological, social, and spiritual needs according to individualized care plans to maintain their independence.
  2. Maintaining a clean, safe environment aligned with Crest View policies.
  3. Upholding the organization's philosophy, goals, and Christian values.
  4. Floating to other nursing units as needed.
  5. Demonstrating tactfulness and positive communication with staff, residents, and visitors.
  6. Maintaining professional ethics and confidentiality.
  7. Observing Residents' Bill of Rights.
Qualifications

Job Qualifications:

  • Must be a Registered Nursing Assistant in Minnesota, with ongoing educational requirements.
  • Long-term care experience preferred.
  • Ability to build satisfactory relationships with residents, families, providers, and coworkers.
  • Effective time management with minimal supervision.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including electronic and telephone communication.

Physical Qualifications:

  • Ability to communicate effectively with staff, family, and residents via various methods.
  • Ability to document and maintain health records, and read typewritten documents.
  • Ability to lift 25 pounds and assist with residents up to 400 pounds.
  • Frequent physical movements such as bending, squatting, sitting, walking, standing, pushing, and pulling.
