Job summary

Temple Health is seeking a Nursing Assistant to join the Float Team at Jeanes Campus. The role supports RNs with patient care tasks and functions prepared for the role, under supervision of the Nurse Manager. It emphasizes customer service and respectful, compassionate care in a busy hospital setting.

Full-time position from 7:00 am to 7:30 pm; prior nursing assistant experience preferred and BLS certification required or in progress; high school diploma or equivalent required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent Required
• Trade School Completion of an approved Nursing Assistant Program or current Nursing student with satisfactory completion of at least one clinical rotation Required or
• Combination of relevant education and experience may be considered in lieu of degree Required

Responsibilities

• Assists the RN by performing patient care activities delegated to the unlicensed nursing support staff as well as additional specific functions for which he/she has been prepared.
