Job summary

Providence Queen of the Valley Medical Center is seeking a Nursing Assistant for the Float Pool in Napa, CA. This Full Time role involves 12-hour Day shifts and direct bedside care under the supervision of a charge nurse or RN.

Responsibilities include assisting with hygiene, monitoring vital signs, data collection, and timely documentation in medical records, while maintaining patient safety and comfort across ages.

Qualifications

• National Provider BLS - American Heart Association within 30 days of hire.
• Nursing Assistant certification preferred at hire.
• Acute care or specialty experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide routine direct bedside care to patients of various ages under supervision.
• Assist with personal hygiene, data collection, observation, and vital signs.
• Record intake and output, use equipment, and perform ADLs.
• Document in medical records and respond to call lights and emergencies.

Nursing Assistant - Float Pool at Providence Queen of the Valley Medical Center in Napa, CA. This position is Full Time and will work 12-hour, Day shifts.

The Nursing Assistant employs intellectual, interpersonal and technical skills to perform basic patient care. Under the supervision of the Assistant Nurse Manager, Charge Nurse or RN, the Nursing Assistant assists with routine, direct bedside care of patients of various ages as defined by the department scope of service. Such duties include, but are not limited to: personal hygiene, data collection and observation, vital signs, I&O, use of equipment, ADL's, documenting on the medical record, answering call lights, and recognizing and responding to emergency situations.

Required Qualifications:
