Job summary

UF Health in The Villages seeks a Nursing Assistant Float Pool to provide basic patient care while supporting RN staff. The full-time position covers 36 hours per week on day shift and requires strong English communication and a Florida CNA license or relevant experience.

You will assist with activities of daily living, perform basic nursing procedures, maintain patient comfort, and help keep rooms clean and safe for a positive patient experience.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Post High School Special Training preferred.
• BLS certification.
• Valid Florida CNA license or minimum 2 years CNA experience.
• Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic physical care to patients and assist with nursing procedures.
• Offer comfort measures and respond to patient needs.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized environment for patients.
