Job summary

UF Health is seeking a Nursing Assistant Float Pool member to support patient care across units. You will perform basic nursing tasks, monitor patient needs and respond to calls with empathy and professionalism.

Under the direction of registered nurses, you will help with daily living activities, maintain a safe, clean environment and ensure comfort for patients and families during shifts across the hospital setting.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or GED.
• Post‑High‑School Special Training preferred.
• Licensure/Registration: Either minimum 2 years experience OR valid FL CNA license.
• BLS.
• Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English.

Under the direction of the Director/Manager and RNs, the Nursing Assistant Float Pool facilitates patient care by providing the basic physical care and nursing procedures, providing patients with comfort measures and maintaining a clean safe organized environment.
