Job summary

Encore Northwoods Lodge in Washington is seeking a dedicated Nursing Assistant to support short-term skilled nursing residents in a 57-bed facility. You will provide routine daily care per the care plan, assist with meals, and help residents with mobility and daily activities.

The role offers on-demand pay, flexible scheduling, PTO, and comprehensive benefits, with onsite training and educational assistance to help you grow within a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• 1 year experience preferred.
• CNA/HCA/Nursing Assistant License or Certification required.
• Valid CPR/First aid card required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare guests for meals, serve food trays, and assist with feeding as necessary.
• Record the guest's food/fluid intake and report changes in eating habits.
• Perform after meal care (remove trays, clean hands, face, clothing, take to bathroom, brush teeth, clean dentures).
• Assist with lifting, turning, moving, positioning, and transporting guests into and out of beds, chairs, bathtubs, wheelchairs, and lifts.
• Observe and report the presence of pressure areas and skin breakdowns to prevent decubitus ulcers.
