Qualifications

• Nursing Assistant I certification required (NC DHHS)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• Prefer six months of nursing assistant experience
• Fluent in verbal and written English and basic computer skills

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians and health care providers with routine examinations and procedures.
• Provide care and support to patients and families during admission, care, and discharge.
• Record and report patient information and changes in condition to supervising staff.
• Perform routine care tasks such as vital signs, measurements, and basic wound care.
• Maintain clean, stocked, and safe clinical areas; transport supplies and patients as needed.
• Reinforce patient education and distribute education materials.
