Nebraska Methodist Health System’s Methodist Physicians Clinic – Diabetes and Endocrine in Omaha seeks a Clinic Nursing Assistant to support providers with daily tasks, prepare patients for examinations, obtain vitals, and assist with phlebotomy training. The role includes data entry, patient communication, and medication order handling.
Required qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, Nurse Aide Registry experience or enrollment in nursing, and BLS readiness within 3 months.

Work Shift: Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday 7:30am - 4pm, full time, 32hrs/week
The Clinic Nursing Assistant assists providers in daily activities such as preparing patients for examination, obtaining vital signs, phlebotomy*, assisting providers with entering, laboratory and radiology orders, scheduling diagnostic tests and making and receiving phone calls. *Must be willing to complete training in phlebotomy
Education High School Diploma or General Educational Development (GED) preferred. Based on clinic need, Medication Aid Registry and completion of injection training required.
Experience Nurse Aide Registry at time of hire OR current experience working in the capacity of a nursing assistant OR enrolled in a nursing program required.
License/Certifications American Heart Association or American Red Cross Basic Life Support (BLS) strongly preferred at time of hire, required within 3 months of hire. Nurse Aide Registry (NAR) preferred.
