Job summary

The Hot Springs campus of the VA Black Hills Health Care System is seeking Nursing Assistants for the Community Living Center. You will perform patient personal care, assist with diagnostic services, treatment, and charting, delivering safe, individualized nursing care to patients with multiple complex needs in a long-term care setting.

Candidates must meet basic requirements including US citizenship or equivalent, English proficiency, and either six months general experience or education above

Qualifications

Six months general experience or education above high school related to NA.
Ability to perform range of patient/resident care and contribute to the nurse care plan and recovery of patients/residents.
KSAs include communication, observation, and use of basic diagnostic equipment.

Responsibilities

Deliver safe nursing care to patients in the Community Living Center.
Assist licensed nursing staff and care team in care of patients with complex needs.
Perform diagnostic services, charting, and treatment support as directed.
