Qualifications

• Six (6) months of general experience or education above high school or completion of an intensive NA training program.
• English language proficiency as required for direct patient care.
• Knowledge, Skills and Abilities (KSAs) detailed for GS-3 to GS-5 levels.
• Selectees must meet age, citizenship, and regulatory requirements for VA positions.

Responsibilities

• Perform a wide range of patient personal care, diagnostic services, treatment, and charting.
• Deliver safe and individualized nursing care to patients with multiple complex needs.
• Assist licensed nursing staff and participate in care planning and patient monitoring.
• Demonstrate ability to observe, document, and report patient status to the care team.
