Job summary

Henry Ford Health is seeking a Nursing Assistant (CNA) for our Jackson hospital campus in mid-Michigan. In this full-time role, you will provide essential patient care under the guidance of registered nurses, assist in care planning, and respond to evolving patient needs to support safe, compassionate care.

We require a high school diploma or GED and completion of a Nurse Assistant program (or enrollment in a nursing program).

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Completion of a Nurse Assistant program or active enrollment in a nursing program; foreign-trained RN without MI license considered.
• CNA certification preferred.

Responsibilities

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• Completion of a Nurse Assistant program (e.g., CNA, PCT, PAT) OR current enrollment in a nursing program with completed Fundamentals of Nursing course OR foreign-trained RN without a Michigan RN license OR Medical Assistant program with or without experience OR at least one year of experience in a similar role.

Preferred Qualifications

• CNA certification preferred.
