Job summary

AdventHealth Shawnee Mission is seeking a dedicated Certified Nurse Assistant to support patient care during night shifts. Under the licensed nurse, you will take vital signs, assist with procedures, and document accurately in the electronic medical record.

Requirements include a High School diploma or equivalent and Basic Life Support. CNA, CPCT/A, EMT certifications are preferred. This full-time role offers benefits from day one and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (required).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required or must obtain.
• CNA/CPCT/A/EMT certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assists in the delivery of patient care under the direction of a licensed nurse.
• Accurately performs vital signs and documents in the electronic medical record.
• Performs duties and patient care according to policy and procedures.
• Responds appropriately in clinical emergencies within scope of practice.
• Participates in practice changes from performance improvement initiatives.
