Milford Regional Medical Center is a full-service, community and regional teaching hospital, with 145 beds, providing acute-care serving a region of 20-plus towns. Unit Details:

MP-1 is a 24-bed unit with 18 telemetry beds and 6 step-down beds.

Statement of Purpose:

The nursing assistant is responsible for providing patient care under the direction and supervision of a Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse.

Qualifications:

• Education: High School Diploma and/or equivalent.
• Certification: Current CPR certification.

Experience:

• Must have at least one of the following:
• One-year nursing assistant experience,
• Completion of an NA training program,
• Current nursing assistant certification (CNA),
• MRMC nursing assistant training program participant.

MRMC Differentials:

Hospital differentials are: $3.50 hourly for evenings, $5.00 hourly for nights, and $2.75 hourly for weekends. All differentials are paid based on hospital policy.
