12 Hours Day Shifts (United States of America)

Scheduled Weekly Hours :

Salary Range : $17.00 - $25.50 + $1500 Sign-on Bonus

This is a part-time CNA position.

Shift :

6am to 6:30pm

Summary

The Nursing Assistant (NA) serves as a caregiver to residents during scheduled work hours in long-term care. Provides resident-centered nursing care and daily living assistance under the supervision of a registered nurse (RN). Delivers age-appropriate care related to the physical and psychological needs of residents as per care plan. Follows infection prevention and control policies and uses Personal Protective Equipment as required.

Job Responsibilities
  1. Assist with basic health care needs including bathing, toileting, grooming, dressing/undressing, vital signs, psychosocial support, and personal care.
  2. Assist residents with transferring, repositioning, walking, and exercises using correct techniques and equipment.
  3. Support food preparation, dining, and assist residents with meals and snacks, providing water and supplements as appropriate.
  4. Aid providers and nursing staff with procedures as needed.
  5. Document resident interactions and care outcomes.
  6. Communicate changes in resident condition and concerns to the charge nurse.
  7. Collect non-invasive body fluid specimens and vital signs.
  8. Assist with housekeeping and laundry to maintain clean living areas.
  9. Support wellness and recreational programs, encouraging resident participation.
  10. Participate in departmental or organizational committees as needed.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED preferred but not required.
  • Minimum age of 16.
  • Prior clinical or nursing assistant experience in long-term care preferred.
  • Required CNA certification with the State Board of Nursing or certification process within four months of employment.
  • Completion of yearly competency testing and continuing education credits.
  • Maintain required certifications and, if applicable, valid driver's license and medical qualification for driving responsibilities.
