Job summary

Saint Clare's Health in Dover, New Jersey, is seeking a Nursing Assistant to support the Behavioral Health Unit under RN supervision. You will help patients with activities of daily living and maintain a safe environment.

The role requires a CNA certificate and current BLS, with preferred six months in acute care. Night shifts offer meaningful, patient-focused work in a compassionate, team-oriented setting.

Qualifications

• Current Certified Nursing Assistant certificate upon hire, preferred.
• Current BLS (AHA) within 30 days of hire and maintain current.
• Possesses knowledge of Medical Terminology.
• Minimum six months previous experience in an acute care hospital or physician's office preferred.
• Current Behavioral Violence Prevention (BVP) certificate within 6 months of hire and maintain current.

Responsibilities

• The Nursing Assistant in the Behavioral Health Unit is an unlicensed non-certified assistive person who assists with activities of daily living, provides basic nursing care to non-critical patients and assists in maintenance of a safe environment under the direction and supervision of the Registered Nurse in charge of the team and/or unit.
