The Central Texas Health Care System, part of the Veterans Health Administration, is recruiting Nursing Assistants for Acute Care in Temple, Texas. The NA will support licensed staff in caring for patients across various care settings, including hospice.

Major duties include assisting with procedures, data collection, and patient education. They will work under supervision, monitor vitals, and contribute to care planning.

Qualificações

• Transcript required with your application.
• Education recognized by the U.S. Department of Education must be used to qualify for Federal employment.

Responsabilidades

• Assist licensed nursing staff in preventive, acute, subacute, maintenance and hospice care across outpatient, inpatient and home/community settings.
• Record vital signs, document patient status, and report deviations to supervisors.
• Support care plan execution and patient comfort under supervision, including basic nursing tasks and data collection.
