Beth Israel Lahey Health’s 6 West unit is a nurse assistant role within a neurology-focused, stroke-centered team in Burlington, MA. The position supports daily patient care under RN delegation, including vital signs, ADLs, and safety protocols.
Minimum education is a high school diploma; BLS certification required within 30 days of hire. Strong interpersonal and basic medical terminology knowledge are essential for success.

This population of patients includes acute stroke, traumatic brain injury, seizures, epilepsy monitoring and other acute neurological diseases. As a certified comprehensive stroke center, we work closely with the vascular neurology team, and our nurses are experts in acute stroke care. In addition, this unit sees a wide variety of acutely ill medical patients. Our team is committed to the delivery of safe, high quality care to our patients.

Education: Requires a high school diploma or equivalent
Basic Life Support/BLS Required. New Hires/transfers will have 30 days to obtain BLS certification.
Basic ability to read, write and perform basic four-function math.
Ability to obtain knowledge of medical terminology, basic personal computer skills, and interpersonal skills.

Pay Range: $20.00 - $26.92 The pay range listed for this position is the base hourly wage range the organization reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for this position at this time.
