Butler Memorial Hospital in Butler, PA is seeking a part-time Nursing Assistant to support patient care on the 6 Main unit. You will assist with safe patient handling and provide courteous service to patients and families.

Responsibilities include maintaining safe unit operations, assisting with medication transport and oxygen equipment changes, and adhering to crisis management policies. Preferred CNA training and CPR certification are desired.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Preferred: nursing assistant training program in progress or completed.
  • Healthcare Provider CPR certification.

Job description

Part time 20 hours per week, Day/Evening Rotation Hours: 6a-6:30p, 2p-10:30p, 6a-2:30p

Comprehensive Crisis Management per policy. Responsible to safely access, transport, and handle single dose medications to includeprescription and non-prescription medications. Responsible to safely access, transport, and handle sharps, such as needles, suture kits,lancets, syringes, etc.
