Job summary

Temple Health’s TUH-Jeanes Campus in Northeast Philadelphia seeks a part-time Nursing Assistant to support the RN with delegated patient care activities during the 7:00 PM–7:30 AM shift, plugging into Temple Health’s patient‑centered care model. You will be accountable to the Nurse Manager and incorporate the hospital’s Customer Service Program.

Requirements: high school diploma or equivalent; completion of an approved Nursing Assistant program or current nursing student with clinical rotation;

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
• Nursing Assistant Program completion or current nursing student with clinical rotation required.
• Combination of relevant education and experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
• Basic Life Support required.
• Certified Nursing Assistant preferred.
• 1 year experience as Nursing Assistant preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assists the RN by performing patient care activities delegated to the unlicensed nursing support staff.
• Accountable to the Nurse Manager or designee for all activities.

Education

• High School Diploma or Equivalent Required
• Trade School Completion of an approved Nursing Assistant Program or current Nursing student with satisfactory completion of at least one clinical rotation Required or
• Combination of relevant education and experience may be considered in lieu of degree Required

Experience

• 1 year experience in a Nursing Assistant role Preferred

Licenses

• Basic Life Support Required
• Certified Nursing Assistant Preferred
