Guardian Angels Care Center – Elk River, MN is seeking a Nursing Assistant Registered (NAR) for a part-time evening shift (2:30pm–11pm) at the 100 Wing. The role involves resident-centered care under a licensed nurse, with opportunities to support restorative programs and document observations.

Must be MN-registered as a Nursing Assistant, be at least 16 years old, and be able to maintain confidentiality. Prior nursing experience is preferred; strong prioritization and self-motivation are

Responsibilities

• Provide direct personal cares for residents under supervision of a licensed nurse.
• Provide Restorative/Maintenance nursing programs as developed by Nursing Rehabilitation.
• Accurately document cares provided and resident observations.
• Assist residents to achieve highest level of physical, cognitive, psychosocial, and spiritual function.
• Maintain a dignified, respectful, resident-centered environment.
• Follow infection control guidelines and safety standards.
• Uphold HIPAA and Guardian Angels policies.

Schedule

• 2:30pm - 11pm Schedule.
• Part time, working 72 hours per pay period (2 Weeks).
• Must be available to work every other weekend (Saturday/Sunday) and holiday.

Position Summary

The Nursing Assistant Registered (NAR) is responsible for providing respectful, resident-centered care and assistance to the resident under the supervision of a licensed nurse. They assist the resident to achieve their highest level of physical, cognitive, psychosocial, and spiritual function.

Job Duties

• To provide direct personal cares for residents at their assessed level of function under the supervision of a licensed nurse.
• To provide Restorative/Maintenance nursing programs as developed by Nursing Rehabilitation
• To accurately document cares provided, resident observations.
• To assist the resident to achieve their highest level of physical, cognitive, psychosocial, and spiritual function.
• To assist in providing a dignified, respectful, resident-centered environment for residents.
• Follows universal precautions, facility infection control guidelines, sanitation and safety standards of practice in all work and activities.
• All duties will be performed in accordance with current standards, guidelines, state and federal regulations.
• Uphold confidential information as required by Guardian Angels Care Center policy and procedure and as related to HIPPA.
• Uphold the mission, vision, and values of Guardian Angels.
• Performs all other duties as assigned.
