Job summary

Gundersen Health System in Wabasha, MN is seeking a casual CNA to join our Long Term Care team. You will assist with basic resident care, collaborate with the health care team, and help ensure a safe and comfortable environment for patients and residents.

Base pay starts at $19.55/hour and increases to $20.55/hour once certification is obtained. This position offers supportive colleagues, work/life balance, and a community-focused place to love your work and grow.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Minnesota Registered Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license or ability to complete a training program within 4 months of hire.
• Current Infant-Adult Basic Life Support for Health Care Providers from AHA or Red Cross.

Responsibilities

• Assists with basic care for residents in nutrition, elimination, comfort, mobility and safety.
• Collaborates with health care team members to communicate and document information accurately.
• Join a team that cares for each other as much as the patients and residents receiving care at St. Elizabeth’s.

What's Available

• Casual position. Available to regularly work scheduled hours that includes every other weekend and holiday.

• Assists with basic care for residents in the areas of nutrition, elimination, comfort, mobility and safety.
• Works collaboratively with the health care team members to effectively communicate and document accurate information.

What You Need

• High School Diploma or equivalent, desired
• Minnesota Registered Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or able to complete a training program approved by the registry within 4 months of hire.
• Current Infant-Adult Basic Life Support for Health Care Providers (with hands on learning) from one of the following programs: American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
