Job summary

United Health Services is seeking a Nursing Assistant to provide compassionate, patient-centered care on the Medical Unit at UHS Delaware Valley Hospital. Responsibilities

• Provide basic patient care and ADLs under RN supervision.
• Assist with nutrition/hydration and record intake.
• Record vital signs and intake/output in electronic health record.
• Support safe mobility, positioning, and transfers.
• Perform rounding, respond to call lights, and maintain room cleanliness.
• Document care and observations per unit guidelines.

Position OverviewThe Nursing Assistant at United Health Services (UHS) plays an important role in delivering compassionate, patient-centered care that helps patients feel safe, supported, and respected. This position assists with activities of daily living (ADLs), mobility, patient rounding, vital sign collection, and intake/output documentation while working closely with the Registered Nurse to communicate changes and support patient safety. As part of a collaborative care team, the Nursing Assistant contributes to positive patient outcomes and experiences through meaningful interactions, teamwork, and high-quality care.Primary Department, Division, or Unit:Medical Unit, UHS Delaware Valley HospitalWork Shift and Schedule:This is a per diem position, which means you will work on an as needed, agreed upon basis.
