Job summary

The Cottage in Tulsa, Oklahoma seeks a Certified Nurse Assistant to provide care to residents according to policies and plans. You will document care, assist with activities of daily living and respond to requests.

Must have completed an approved CNA training program and be competent to perform duties, with good infection control and communication with residents, families, and staff.

• Must have completed an approved training program and passed competency examinations for Certified Nurse Assistant.

Responsibilities

• Works with residents to maintain, improve and/or enhance each resident's quality of care and quality of life.
• Provides, completes, and documents resident care as assigned in a timely and accurate manner.
• Attends and participates in facility in-service programs.
• Practices good infection control techniques in all aspects of resident care.
• Reports any change of condition to charge nurse.
• Responds timely to resident requests, including call light response.
• Observes residents rights including privacy, dignity, and others when providing care to residents.
• Communicates effective with residents, families, other staff members, and management.
• Assists residents for social functions and meals in a timely manner as assigned or as indicated on plan of care.
• Other duties as needed by residents.
