Job summary

The Cottage in Tulsa, OK is seeking a dedicated Certified Nurse Assistant to provide high-quality resident care in accordance with policy and procedure. You will document care, assist with daily activities, and respond promptly to resident needs.

You will work with a team to maintain residents' quality of life, follow infection control practices, and participate in in-service programs. The role requires CNA certification and a commitment to dignity and compassionate care.

Qualifications

• Must have completed an approved training program and passed competency examinations for Certified Nurse Assistant.

Responsibilities

• Provides, completes, and documents resident care as assigned in a timely and accurate manner.
• Attends and participates in facility in-service programs.
• Practices good infection control techniques in all aspects of resident care.
• Reports any change of condition to charge nurse.
• Responds timely to resident requests, including call light response.
• Observes residents rights including privacy, dignity, and others when providing care to residents.
• Communicates effective with residents, families, other staff members, and management.
• Assists residents for social functions and meals in a timely manner as assigned or as indicated on plan of care.
• Other duties as needed by residents.
