Job summary

SanStone Health & Rehabilitation in Cherryville, NC is seeking a dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to work under the direction of the Director of Nursing and the RN/LPN. You will deliver person-centered care, assist with activities of daily living, and document care per resident care plans.

You will support meals, vital signs, transfers, and respectful interaction with residents and families, ensuring cleanliness and dignity with strong communication across staff.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and assist with activities of daily living
• Serve meals to residents and assist with feeding as needed
• Provide person-centered care to each resident based on their care plan
• Take and record vital signs
• Perform patient care as directed by RN/LPN in safe manner according to policy and procedure
• Respond directly to patient requests and appropriately communicate the patient's needs
• Assist in properly transferring residents
• Document records of care for every assigned resident each shift
• Assure the cleanliness and dignity of each resident
• Possess good communication skills to interact with residents, their loved ones, and other staff members

Under the direction and supervision of the Director of Nursing and the Registered Nurse (RN) and/or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), the CNA responsibilities include, but are not limited to;
