Job summary

Paris Regional Medical Center is seeking a Nurse Aide to deliver compassionate patient care in a 154-bed facility serving Northeast Texas and Southeast Oklahoma. You will assist with ADLs, feeding, mobility, and ongoing monitoring under licensed staff supervision, while maintaining safety and infection control standards.

The role supports discharge processes, patient transport, and orientation of new staff.

Qualifications

• Must demonstrate critical thinking and decisive judgment in a stressful environment.
• PCA experience preferred for the Nurse Aide role.
• Education: high school diploma or PCA/Nurse Aide program; licensure as Nurse Aide required where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Assist with patient care across nursing areas under licensed personnel.
• Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs) and document.
• Assist with feeding and meals and document.
• Assist with elimination needs and document.
• Respond to alarm pendants and patient needs promptly.
• Collect and document patient information (weights, vitals) and report changes.
• Provide restorative care per care plan and document.
• Keep patient rooms and common areas stocked and clean; change linens.
• Follow infection control policies and OSHA standards.
• Operate equipment and perform procedures safely; report faults.
• Assist in discharge processes including transport and personal belongings.
