Job summary

The Waterford at Fitchburg is hiring a Nursing Aide to support residents in an Independent and Assisted Living setting. You will assist with activities of daily living, meals, mobility, and medication reminders, while promoting dignity and independence.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Preferred knowledge and experience in nursing or senior living, home health, or similar.

Responsibilities

• Assists with instrumental activities of daily living, assistance with medication, treatments, and other care while encouraging self-care and independence.
• Escorts residents within and outside the building as needed.
• Assists with setting up, serving meals and cleaning up afterwards.
• May assist with planning and executing activities for residents on a regularly scheduled basis.
• Treat residents with dignity and respect at all times.
