Job summary

The Addison of West Ashley, a Sonida Senior Living community, is seeking Nursing Aides to provide compassionate care in a premier retirement setting in Charleston, SC. You will assist residents with daily activities, medications, meals, and mobility while supporting engaging activities and maintaining safety.

Qualifications

• Preferred knowledge of nursing or senior living settings.
• Ability to assist with activities of daily living and medications.
• Experience in home health or similar care environments is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist with activities of daily living and medication assistance as directed.
• Escort residents within the building and outside as needed.
• Assist with meal service and post-meal cleanup.
• Support planning and execution of resident activities on a regular schedule.
• Treat residents with dignity and respect at all times.

Nursing Aid Responsibilities Include

• Assists with instrumental activities of daily living, assistance with medication, treatments, and other care while encouraging self-care and independence
• Escorts residents both within the building and outside, as needed
• Assists with setting up, serving meals and cleaning up afterwards
• May assist with the planning and executing of activities for residents on a regularly scheduled basis
• Treat residents with dignity and respect at all times

Qualifications

• High school graduate or GED preferred.
• Preferred knowledge and experience in nursing or senior living, home health, or similar.
