Job summary

The Addison of West Ashley, a Sonida Senior Living community, is seeking a Nursing Aide to provide compassionate support to residents in an assisted living and memory care environment.

Responsibilities include assisting with daily living activities, meals, and care plans, while ensuring safety, dignity, and independence. Qualified candidates typically have a high school diploma or GED and relevant experience in nursing or senior living.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or GED preferred.
• Preferred knowledge and experience in nursing or senior living, home health, or similar.

Responsibilities

• Assist with instrumental activities of daily living and assistance with medication, treatments, and other care while encouraging self-care and independence.
• Escort residents within and outside the building as needed.
• Assist with setting up, serving meals and cleaning up afterwards.
• May assist with planning and executing activities for residents on a regularly scheduled basis.
• Treat residents with dignity and respect at all times.
