Job summary

Harrisburg Area Community College (HACC) seeks an adjunct Nursing instructor to deliver course content and provide student support for assigned classes on a semester basis. Qualified candidates hold a Bachelor's in Nursing, have at least one year of nursing practice, and are enrolled in a master's program or have a plan to begin one within one semester.

PA RN licensure and PA Act 15 compliance are required.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Nursing is required.
At least one year of nursing practice is required.
Enrollment in a master's nursing program or plan to begin within one semester.

Responsibilities

Provide academic instruction and student academic support for assigned classes.
Develop instructional methods aligned with learning outcomes and catalog descriptions.
Submit syllabi by the stated deadlines and coordinate with department staff.
Report to all scheduled classes and administer exams on time.
Maintain attendance, grading, and office hours as appropriate for each course.
Participate in assessment processes and contribute to improving student learning.
Access HACC email and respond within 2 business days.
Support adherence to policies including ADA/504, Title IX, and ethical conduct.
Other duties as assigned.
