South College Nashville Campus is seeking an Adjunct Instructor for Obstetrics/Maternal Infant in the School of Nursing, teaching in the Baccalaureate of Science in Nursing (BSN), Associate Degree Nursing (ASN), and/or LPN programs.

Primary Responsibilities:

  1. Maintain professional standards of practice in clinical teaching.
  2. Collaborate with course faculty and work closely with the clinical coordinator.
  3. Facilitate effective learning and critical thinking during clinical sessions while fostering a positive learning environment.
  4. Establish and maintain positive relationships with clinical agencies.
  5. Monitor student progress through evaluations and grade care plans as assigned, providing constructive feedback as needed.

Requirements:

  • Master’s degree in Nursing preferred.
  • Preferred teaching experience.
  • Hold an unrestricted license to practice in Tennessee.
